Founder & CEO
Mrs. Chalaca has a long history in the bakery and food service space. She started in food service management in 2000 as the Store Manager for the bakery Four Campagnard. Then, in 2003 and 2004, she founded a food store, Delices de l’Olympe, followed by a bakery/café, La Grignote.
Mrs. Chalaca went on to obtain a Certificate in International Business from San Francisco City College during 2008, and, from 2013 to 2016, worked as the Marketing & Business Development Manager for the San Francisco Baking Institute, where she guided clients on how to set up and run a successful bakery business.
Finally, between 2016 and 2022, Elisabeth worked as the General Manager and Chef of La Grignote Key West, a successful bakery café concept in Key West, FL, where she led overall operations and the development of a vegan and gluten-free menu for catering.
